A 20-year-old male was arrested Wednesday after the Jasper County Sheriff's Department assisted by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics executed a search warrant in the Stringer community.
"On April 17, 2024, Jasper County Sheriff’s Department with the assistance of MBN, executed a narcotics search warrant on the residence of Devin Dyers, CR 1511 in the Stringer community," said Jasper County Sheriff Randy Johnson in a press release Wednesday afternoon.
Johnson stated that over eight ounces of marijuana was recovered along with several opiates and three firearms.
"Devin Dyer was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm and possession with intent to distribute. Dyer's bond was set at $75,000 by Judge Marvin Jones," added Johnson.
