COVID-19 has put many things on hold here in the Pinebelt, but one thing it hasn’t stopped, and rightly so, is turkey hunting. Opening Day of the 2020 Spring Turkey Season is was a success for some, and for others not so much.
Turkey hunting is one of the most difficult, yet also rewarding past times for many hunters.
Last Saturday, I was able to follow Mike Barnes on a hunt in the Pinebelt. Like many others who hit the woods on Saturday, the hunt didn’t yield a turkey.
