Here are your Jones, Jasper, Smith and Wayne County Week 12 predictions as picked by James Pugh.

Current record: 74-28 (72.54 winning percentage).

Wingfield (1-10) at West Jones (10-0)

I'll start with Thursday night's Region 3-5A matchup in Soso, not because it's the easiest to predict but because the result will be special.

West Jones is one win away from finishing the regular season unbeaten - a feat the Mustangs haven’t reached since 2010, and a total of four times in school history thus far.

As long as all six wheels on the bus don’t fall off, West Jones wins big.

Prediction: West Jones 42, Wingfield 7.

Bay Springs (9-2) at Scott Central (8-2)

Bay Springs knew they'd be in hot water once it suffered a loss to Enterprise two weeks ago. Their first-round playoff opponent is no cupcake. Like Bay Springs, Scott Central has two losses on the year, but are the reigning 2A state champs.

The Bulldogs need to slow down Scott Central's run game, and completely decimate its passing attack to win Friday night. Can they? I'm not entirely convinced. I believe this game remains close until the fourth quarter.

Prediction: Scott Central 24, Bay Springs 12.

Stringer (6-5) at Richton (6-5)

Stringer is in a sticky situation. They could go from a third seed in the upcoming playoffs to not even making it in Friday night’s regular-season finale.

Mathematically, Stringer needs to win at Richton Friday night or avoid an 11-point or more loss to make the playoffs.

I believe Stringer can avoid a loss altogether. But, they'll need another night as they had against Sebastopol two weeks ago, where everything went in their favor.

Prediction: Stringer 20, Richton 14.

Raleigh (5-5) at Kemper County (3-7)

I talked to Raleigh head coach Chad Collums this week, and he said those in Raleigh still have a bad taste from 2016 when Kemper County spoiled Raleigh's title hopes with a 28-20 loss in 3A South State.

Those on the field Friday night might not remember it, but the folks in Raleigh will get their revenge - sweet or not.

Prediction: Raleigh 28, Kemper County 17.

Other Predictions:

Laurel 37, Jim Hill 14.

Carroll Academy 48, Sylva Bay Academy 6.

Cathedral 42, Wayne Academy 7.

Philadelphia 55, Heidelberg 6.

Natchez 38, South Jones 21.

Taylorsville 42, Union 14.

Picayune 35, Wayne County 14.
