Twenty-one high school athletes spanning across six different schools and three different sports signed Letter of Intents on Wednesday’s traditional National Signing Day.
West Jones led the way with seven signees as Taylorsville followed with six. Laurel led next with three. Heidelberg, Mize, and Laurel had two, while Bay Springs rounded out the list with one.
The most notable signees were Mize's Trey Tuggle and West Jones' Brikayla Gray. Both signed Division 1 scholarships. Tuggle signed with Tulane football, and Gray inked with Southern Miss basketball.
Taylorsville boasted the biggest number of football signees with six.
